Ontario Government Regulations state that you must have your interceptors pumped out at least once a year while maintaining less than 4” of oil on top of your interceptor and less that 12” of sludge on the bottom. Our service representative will pump all three stages of the interceptor until there is no waste remaining. After the service is complete, it is recommended that the first stage of the interceptor be filled with water to the appropriate level.
As part of the interceptor service, we will also pump out any catch basins or hoist pits at no extra charge. Removing floor grates to pump the trench of waste product is completed at an extra charge. This will ensure proper flow of oil water and sludge into the interceptor and prevent backups.
